In development · large-format printer

1.5 m³. Folds to 1/8.

Large parts need a large printer. They do not need a machine that occupies a bay forever. The frame uses a CNC-milled aluminum scissor kinematic that folds to one-eighth its deployed size in under a minute.

Capacity

1.5 m³ build volume for genuinely large parts.

Pack-down

Folds to one-eighth size in under a minute. No belts to loosen.

Status

In development. A workshop machine being built — not in production, not in use yet.

Mechanical notes

The fold ratio only matters if the frame is rigid while printing.

Length-neutral belts

Idlers at the hinges keep the CoreXY belt path geometrically length-neutral while folding. Tension stays. No recalibration ritual.

Lock after deploy

Conical pins locate the aluminum structure. Holding magnets lock it. The point is a quiet, backlash-free print, not a party trick.

Folding heated bed

Two plates that nest for transport, so the footprint halves when the machine is packed.
